Purpose: Family law mediation facilitates an economically sensible and emotionally reasonable solution to divorce. The parties jointly retain a neutral attorney to help them get through the divorce process. The mediator helps the parties find the common ground where the facts, the law and the objectives of the parties come together. The mediator prepares and files all paperwork necessary to start and finish the dissolution process.

Advantages: Mediation offers reasonable people a method of processing a divorce without unnecessarily spending tens of thousands of dollars and creating deep and long-lasting emotional wounds.
