David J. Golde is expert at discerning the most viable options in a case, whether business or personal and providing clients with best possible scenarios. Whether it is highly complex issues or counseling clients with the difficult decisions found in every family law case, David is a strong, steady guide in life's most difficult legal matters. He is one of only 1100 attorneys in the state of California to hold the unique standing of Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) from the State Bar Board of Legal Specialization.

David is a graduate in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles and earned his law degree from the UCLA School of Law. He was admitted to practice in California in 1965.

David was appointed a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force, serving as a legal assistant, claims officer and defense counsel before military courts. He was honorably discharged in the rank of captain and began his extensive civilian career.

From 1970 to 1997, Mr. Golde engaged in the private practice of law primarily in the area of family law. In 1997 he left private practice to establish the Office of the Family Law Facilitator for Shasta and Trinity Counties.

His knowledge and experience helped develop a successful program in those counties. David taught business law for the University of Maryland and family law for the Shasta College Legal Assistant Program.
